The criteria for Key Business Risks is focused on the Residual Risks levels and give Departmental Managers a list of the Top Risks in the Department.
This gives the board, your executive committee and management an overview of the top risks by number that is decided to show.
Some of these top risks will also be in the Key Business Risks list, where the focus is to show which are managed from those that have been flagged to have additional controls to reduce risks to be within risk tolerance.
